Summary

Various polls show that more Black and Hispanic voters are favoring former President Donald Trump over President Biden as their pick in the 2024 Presidential Election. When the former President headed uptown to the South Bronx, a traditionally Democratic and predominantly Hispanic neighborhood in New York City -- the turnout seemed to overwhelmingly reflect that.   The Duffys share their thoughts on former President Trump's campaign rally in the South Bronx and why the once deeply blue neighborhood is getting sprinkled with hints of red.  Follow Sean & Rachel on X: @SeanDuffyWI & @RCamposDuffy Learn more about your ad choices. Sean, it's great to be back. And I've been visiting the Bronx these days.

You have been. Me and the president. And I can tell you what, so I, you told me you're going to go to the Bronx. The day before the president went. And I wasn't sure what you were going to get. I was actually interested. You were doing man-on-the-street interviews, and I kept calling you because I was like, I wonder what's happening and what kind of reception you were getting and what people thought actually on the street. Because there's nothing better than going out and meeting people and seeing people on the street.

You see these polls shot.

You see these polls that show blacks and Hispanics moving towards Donald Trump away from the Democrat Party, away from Joe Biden.

But it's just an entirely different thing to actually go and experience it.

1:10.1

So this was the day before Donald

1:13.0

Trump was going to go. And the message out that the Democrats were putting out there was Joe,

1:18.4

you know, they're trying to scare Donald Trump from going. And they said, you're not welcome in the

1:22.6

Bronx. You're not going to be welcome there, which is not an unreasonable thing to say. No.

1:27.3

Right. I mean, this is deep an unreasonable thing to say. No. Right?

1:27.6

I mean, this is deep blue.

1:29.3

So I believe in 2016, 10% of people in the Bronx voted for Donald Trump.

1:37.5

That's right.

1:38.1

Then 2020, he increased by four points to 16%.

1:42.1

So I was thinking, okay, if we're lucky, this is going to be a 50-50 thing.

1:48.4

Now, let me, let me be completely transparent about how we set up this, this trip to the Bronx,

me and Fox and Friends.

1:56.4

I went and I met with like four, four or five people that we had pre-interviewed.
