We had two rookie wide receivers finish as top 12 at the position in full PPR leagues.

0:38.9

What will they do for an encore?

0:40.2

We'll talk about it right now in fantasy football today in five.

I'm Adam Aiser, joined by Jamie Eisenberg to talk about the 2021 rookies.

They will be your two wide receivers in 2022.

0:50.9

And the two top 12 guys were obviously Jamar Chase and then Jalen Waddle and only full PBR because he had a ton of catches snuck in there. And you could say, Jamie, those are really the only two that gave you any type of consistent production. So when you look back at this class, very talented. You had five guys going the first round. You had Smith, Bateman and Tony. Yeah, we were so excited about Terrace Marshall, Rondell Moore, Elijah Moore.

1:11.6

How would you assess their rookie seasons overall? I mean, you said it, you know, you had the two guys at the top that, or two guys that finished at the top, you know, with Chase and Waddle. And obviously the way of Montrose-St. Brown finished the season, a lot of people are going to remember that. You know, I think for the people that had Elijah Moore, they're going to remember that stretch of games, that he was just

fantastic and looked like a potential breakout player, which I think he still has the opportunity to be in his second season. But you mentioned that there was a lot of disappointments. You know, Cadarius Tony was a huge disappointment. You know, or side of statement, I think, for the most part, you have to consider him a disappointment, obviously just based on his fantasy production, but there's a lot to like about his game going into year number two.

1:48.7

I think you look at Terris Marshall, one of the biggest mistakes I made in a rookie only

1:56.3

draft last season was taking him over Elijah Moore with the last, or not the last pick, but back end of

2:01.7

a 14 team, you know, first round rookie pick, thinking that he's going to be back with his, you know,

2:08.9

play caller essentially in Joe Brady in Carolina. And it didn't, it didn't work with Joe Brady now

2:14.4

and who knows what's going to happen, you know, in year number two. There's still some potential

2:17.3

there, obviously, but it's just, it's, think, just kind of all over the place, you know, you know, when you look at Elijah Moore and Mara and St. Brown and tie them into, you know, I think Jamar Chase and Jalen Wall, you know, you hope that you get just a bigger, you know, sample size of greatness from those two. And then you hope Devonte Smith obviously steps up his game because, you know, he was another guy that really left us with a lot on the table that I think we were, we were hoping to see some more. So who's the number three wide receiver for you from this class in your 2022 rankings behind Chase and Waddle? Yeah, I go back and forth between St. Brown and Elijah Moore. And I think the, uh, the off season is going to determine that, you know,

2:53.0

we'll see what the lines do to add to their receiving court.
