First, the bad, then the good, when it comes to body image.

First of all, if you're on Tik-talk, and you are spending any time at all on there.

New research has come out saying that man it is really bad, really bad and

will damage your self-esteem when it comes to body image. Researchers recruited about 273 female Tik-Tok users 18 to 28

asking to watch fitness-inspired videos or neutral Tik-Tok content and this won't shock you.

Those exposed to more diet or fitness centered content saw a greater decrease in body

image satisfaction than those who did not and also those who participated to use

Tik-Toc for more than two hours daily also reported

disordered eating behaviors. No shock there right? I mean what you see there is not real. It's really not real.

All right, that's the negative. Now, Rebecca here with the positive. Well, trying to be positive,

because I'm really, I'm no stranger to be positive. Because I'm really, I'm no stranger to body positivity.

I really struggled sort of with how I felt about my appearance

for a lot of my late 20s and I had come to a really good place but for the

majority of that time it was about my weight and then suddenly when I turned 30

a new thing entered the ring.

A new bombshell entered the villa.

A new bomb shell entered the villa.

And it was scars so as a lot of people know I battled tongue

cancer at the end of 2023 and that treatment left me with just sort of a laundry list of scars.
