It involves conviction and courage, passion, and character.

And, as General George Patton said, quote, moral courage is the most valuable and usually the most absent characteristic in men,

end of quote. Ultimately, leadership begins and ends with love, flowing from the two commandments,

the great commandments, to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind,

soul, and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

Our triune God tells us what love is.

And the first characteristic of love is that it is patient.
