but we all know it has a negative side as well because there's a drive for quantity and viewers rather than quality,

algorithms promote sensationalist and divisive content

rather than balanced and authentic Islamic knowledge.

And when such negativity dominates it harms the Dawa and it also harms our soul.

You know as many of you aware it was partially for those very reasons

that I decided to withdraw from social media and concentrate on more useful projects.

And al-Ham-Dur-Lah, I have finished a number of books and you're going to be hearing about those announcements soon.

But I do believe that it is also now time for me to return not to social media, but to a platform in which I'll be able to communicate with all of you.

Islamic content directly to you and to have a safe and immediate line of

communication with those who are interested in the type of lectures that I'm producing.
