Hey everybody, welcome back. You're listening to Black On The Air. This is Larry Womor.

You're a host of the podcast. One of my favorite people in journalism, Soledad O'Brien, is my guest today.

Man, it's always great talking to her. She's just great. Just awesome. She was on my show Wilmore too.

And it was one of our favorite episodes. And we're going to talk about a new show she's doing.

Now called Disrupt and Dismanto. It's on BET and some other Viacom outlets.

Man, she really covers some interesting things about things like environmental racism,

school deprism, pipeline, some land issues that have been systemic, things like that,

police in Chicago, all kinds of stuff. It's a really, really, really interesting show that is going to be out soon.

So we have a good conversation about some of that stuff. Her thoughts on journalism and things that are going on.

I think you guys will enjoy it. So I don't have a lot today. I don't know why. My tank is just today.

It's been an emotional week, guys. I told you after my brother died January 30th,

we finally were able to bury him last Monday. Crazy, crazy, crazy. It took so long.

That was very emotional, but it was good to have closure in that.

To be able to move on, there have been other family members, some cousins and stuff,

couple of cousins that passed away this past week and the other side of my family. My ex-wife

her aunt passed away. She was great, ladies. So there's been a lot of that happening here in my family.

So I realized today, I can feel it. It's been an emotional week, man.

But a lot of those emotions are kind of, I think they're kind of like,

cleansing sometimes to the obey, but get it out and spend time with family when you can.
