We have such a good show on deck for today, a lot of juicy topics, but first I want to thank our listeners who had a lot of great responses to the Riverside Church situation, which we discussed on our last episode, I had

asked sort of jokingly for examples of people going to sex shops with their colleagues,

and we got a fair amount of them.

One listener said that when she was in college she worked on an all female archaeological dig,

which sounds dreamy, and said she and her coworkers went to good vibrations a sex

shop after work. She said it actually didn't feel inappropriate in part because

the professor who was running the dig didn't know what was happening but she did say there

was an uncomfortable part which was when one of her coworkers a married PhD student

who identified as a liberal Christian tried to talk her out of going to the sex shop because it would desens, sex toys would desensitize her and ruin sex with quote-unquote actual men.

And then we got another email from a female minister who has been to the festival of

homelectics. She said it was a very social atmosphere. This is where the pastor of the

Riverside Church went to the smitten kitten and you know allegedly

coerced one of her colleagues into visiting the sex shop. This minister who wrote
