You know I have figured out at this point in life that the things that keep us from being the absolute best parents in the world is the kids.

Now you've probably learned some things as you look back and realize

that you've probably earned a master's degree in threats and sleeplessness

worry and repeating yourself when it comes to parenting and we know that parenting

is tough but somehow people

keep on choosing to do it. You discovered a long time ago that making your

kids take responsibility and face consequences makes you a rough friend but it

makes you a great parent. You've learned that the quickest way to get a kid's

attention is to sit down and look comfortable. You've learned that you can make it

to preschool and get them dropped off on time or you can let the toddler, you know,

zip their own jacket, but you can't do both. There's a lot of things

we've learned. I don't know that there's a lot that we've always done right, but on this episode,

we're going to dig into it a little bit and have a little fun.
