So I wanted to start by talking a little bit about social robots and your work in that arena.

The first question is just to explain for the audience what's a social robot as opposed to any other robot?

Right, right. Yeah, social robot is really broadly defined.

Basically any robot that's situated with humans.

So a couple of definitions are that they should be socially evocative, sociable.

So any robot that's designed to essentially work or interact or evoke responses from humans.

So it's not a Roomba, for example.
