So I saw that today, among the random things I saw,

that today was Cinnamon Word in between roll day and that word was C-R-E-S-C-E-N-T. And I said that's Crescent, Cinnamon Crescent Roll Day.

And I thought, but surely you meant Crescent? Surely you meant Cinnamon Crescent Roll Day, right?

You would assume. And Crescent is C-R-O-I-S-S-A-N-T. So, well, surely that's a mistake.

And the problem is, and I know a lot of you are this way,

at that moment I start wanting to fix it.

Like, hey, because I know the guy who does this, you know, on this day in history,

actually called Cinnamon Crescent or I suppose some people's pronounce that crescent

So I start digging around.

Now this particular source claims that the crescent that you eat in France was originally the crescent

or I guess you can pronounce it chrysant but spell it like a crescent
