Yeah, well we always start off with our general thoughts before going like chronologically through what happened and giving like our opinions and insight on it.

So like overall my general thoughts was a roller coaster like every three episodes I changed my mind on if I liked or didn't like the show and in the end I did end up loving it.

Yeah, I was I was ready to cancel this podcast that was I was literally like I was watching episode one and I'm like this fucking sucks.

Like the entire time I was literally such an asshole being my girlfriend were watching it and every two seconds I'd be like wow.

Honestly like after watching five minutes of this I can really see that this anime is truly garbage.

Yeah, you're quick to judge breaks at least three episodes, bro. No, I don't agree with the three episode rule but I will.

You got I mean I've watched hundreds of anime man. There's really few anime. There is so many.

There is so many so that they've ever been like wrong about and this is one of them dude so many anime start out in a specific way just the subvert the way they started out like you can just you know

assume you can also tell if an anime is for you so I guess I will agree that absolute one really started off with like the magical girl sense you get these teenage girls and for me it's like clearly I'm not the target demographic here.

It was cringe and it was corny so I was just like this isn't for me I'm not gonna like it I must say the series get so much better and change it and they were subverting my expectations a thousand percent.

Yeah, I'm really good at suspending this belief and getting inside the world whether or not it's something I usually watch which in this case it wasn't because I also don't watch magic girl stuff since since Sakura the card capter.

Since then I didn't watch anything but yeah I actually just accepted it for what it is and then I was pleasantly surprised I did know it was gonna get dark.

So it was a surprise to me but it was interesting.

That's the thing this time around I think I was a little bit more like analytical of even episode one because I've been told that it's so good and has like a dark twist and gets better as it goes.
