I feel like it's been, what, almost a week? It's like four or five days since we recorded. I'm like, ah, this can't wait. Let's just go ahead and hop on and chit chat for a few minutes. About a few more potential losses. Yes, of course, the portal doesn't open until January 2nd. And some of these reports, guys can change their mind or if guys enter the portal, yes, they can come back.

But two names, I think one much larger than the other.

Since we last spoke, expected to enter the portal, Donovan Star, Xavier Chaplin.

Start with Xavier Chaplain the uh the starting

left tackle from a year ago he obviously was a top portal target by most of college football

and he chose Auburn Auburn bringing in him in him and Mason Murphy was supposed to revamp this

offensive line and that didn't really happen.

Now, I will say I wasn't as far down on this offensive line last year as a lot of

Auburn folks were.

I think the play calling and skiing didn't really put these guys in situations

to succeed, but regardless, like, it still left a lot to be desired. I'm not pushing back on

that. And the amount of penalties that Chaplin had last year, inexcusable, not excusing that

at all, but was he put into a situation to exceed?

I don't think so.

But the interesting thing about this, and I think

Chaplin's potential entering the portal,
