But first, here's how things sounded at full time

in the Saturday night football at the city ground

where Nottingham Forest faced Everton.

Everton take their first step on the road to recovery.

After the shock of their 10-point deduction,

Sean Deich's team reclaimed three of them,

thanks to one of his old Burnley boys, Dwight McNeil,

coming up with the goods in the second half.

You can see the relief because it's taken Everton

above their two rivals in the bottom three

and taken them to within two points of the safety line

and a little closer to Luton.

A much needed win in a difficult program of fixtures for them. Jordan Pickford came up with some

important saves in that second half from Marillo and Elangar in particular. James Garner

really led things for Everton in that midfield on his return to the club where he spent two

spells on loan.

It does add to the pressure on Steve Cooper because for Nottingham Forrest it is now one win

in their last 10 Premier League matches but for Everton who've been hit by body blow after body blow
