etiquette question for you. I've been engaged for about two months now,

and I've had to pump the breaks on wedding planning due to all the moms in my life and their

opinions. While I'm thankful for their input, it's just a little too much. My fiance and I are

wanting a smaller wedding, maybe 25 people or less, but we both come from large families. Do we rely on the

moms to tell everyone and deal with the heat of not being invited? Do we send out quote unquote,

we eloped cards after the fact? I don't know. I thought about creating a wedding website and

explaining the smaller guess count due to coronavirus,

but I feel like this may be too impersonal.

I don't know.

I feel like we're already hurting feelings by keeping the guestless small, which goes back to the

mama drama.

But I wonder if it was to feel like they aren't being left out of this celebration.
