You know, managers used to play a major role in storylines in professional wrestling.

I mean, since the beginning of wrestling, they've had managers.

And especially during the time that I was with the WWF slash WWE, you know, managers were a big part of what was happening there.

And, you know, some of the best Bobby the Brain Heenan, of course, Jimmy Hart. Sensational Sherry was an awesome manager. She was

somebody who could mix it up in the ring. And that would certainly include my guest this week,

Kenneth Wayne Johnson. Kenneth Wayne Johnson, is that name, ring a bell?

Ding, ding, ding, no?

Yeah, of course it does.

How about if I say the Doctor of Style slick?

That's right.

And the Doctor of Style had a style all his own.

Hey, folks, not only were the 80s and 90s, the golden era for superstars in the WWF,

it was also an incredible period of time in the world of professional wrestling for managers.

Yeah, you remember them.

The word slingers, the ones who knew how to put someone over and make them seem like the greatest wrestler to ever step in the ring. Or, of course, they could bury a foe and leave them smoldering at ringside. During my time with the WWF, they had the best of the best, and that included Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart, and my guest on Primetime this week, Kenneth Wayne Johnson, better known back in the day as the Doctor of Style
