I'm Cole Kuiper here with Giants Insider, Alex Pavlovich.

Giants take the series versus the Astros.

It was a pretty straightforward series with Dead in the Middle,

one of the most boring games of baseball I've ever seen.

Plus, we're going to get to a big mailbag at the end of this episode.

All right, Alex, the Houston Astros roll through San Francisco, but the Giants take two

out of three. There's a few good storylines coming out of this series, but I think the number

one is Austin Slater. Austin Slater finally looked like the Austin Slater that gets the at-bats,

gets the place in the lineup that he's been given. He looked confident up there,

and it was just great to see him back in form. By the way, yeah, that Tuesday game was just

like an all-time dud. Just a dud. I had family on my wife's side from out of town, from out of the country in town.

And they wanted to go to a Giants game.

So we picked the City Connect Tuesday.

And I looked at, they were looking at us like, this is baseball?
