But just a few days after they release the video and their data to the public, amateurs

on the internet solve it easily, thoroughly, and conclusively.

That is exactly what happened a few years ago with a mysterious video from the Chilean

Navy.

The Chilean Navy UFO

In the opening days of 2017, Chilean authorities shocked the world.

They released 10 minutes of video taken from one of their Navy helicopters in November

2014 as it tracked a seemingly inexplicable object in the sky.

Visible only in infrared, not in optical, the object looked like two blurry round-ish

blobs stuck together.

It moved slowly and steadily and was visible for nearly the whole of the video.

But most astonishingly, at two points in the video, it seemed to release a trail of

some unidentified substance that hung in the air behind the object as it moved away.

These black trails of who knows what.

Neither the helicopter nor ground stations they asked saw anything on radar, and the helicopter

crew was unable to contact the object by radio.

Government officials tried for two years to come up with a suitable explanation, but could
