Ghost lights are a fascinating topic, in part because they're so mysterious, and in

part because many of them are actually out there, and you can see them for yourself.

One such example is the famous Brown Mountain Lights in North Carolina.

It's been pretty conclusively solved, but a lot of people refuse to accept the solution.
