Um, Noisette's song called Sister Rosetta. And that is actually the breath of my knowledge on the topic. Well, that's a shame because you should know everything about this woman. She was a superstar. And in order to fully appreciate my story, you've got to know a few things. Okay. First, Rosetta was a queer black woman from Arkansas. She came from family or religious singers and she started playing the guitar as a little girl. But in her early 20s Rosetta made her way to New York City and started performing as a gospel singer.

She came pretty popular in the 1940s. And remember, black female guitarists were rare at the time. Rare now. Yeah. And just to give you an idea what most music was like in the 1940s, this is a popular song from the time called Jingle, Jingle, Jingle by Kay Kaiser.
