I'm Dr. Adam,

Professor of Interpersonal and Family Communication and longtime follower of the TLC series Sister Wives. And that is what I have the great privilege of talking to you about today.

Thank you so much for making me a small but hopefully positive part of your day. That is the most important thing to me.

I hope whatever you're doing right now, you're staying warm, staying safe, and staying as productive or as

unproductive as you need to be. Sometimes doing nothing is the best thing a person can do.

But I'm ready to go. I got some peppermint tea because that's what I'm doing now. I don't know. I'm

trying to quit coffee. Yes. Again, thank you. And I've done a good job this time. I've not

had coffee in weeks.

I'm drinking tea like it's my job. I was on Earl Gray for a while, but that was a little bit too much caffeine even for me. And I was getting a little bit hard to deal with.

And I'm hard to deal with under normal circumstances. So peppermint tea it is and it's pretty good.

Even put a candy cane in it and my wife Amanda complimented me. She's like, look at your cute little drink, you made yourself.

So if you want to know what I'm doing, that's what I'm doing. As far as content goes, I recently, just this past Friday, released this month's independent study for Apple subscribers to the faculty lounge and anybody at the $8 tier on Patreon and above,

where I covered the 2010 documentary film Catfish, like the original catfishing thing, the place that the term catfishing came from.

Catfish, the TV show, all that stuff. And obviously,

we know all about catfish, us sister wives followers. And so that was a lot of fun.

My patrons get to vote every month on what independent study they want me to do, what documentary

or TV show episode or whatever I give you a bunch of choices and you all vote. And Catfish won

resoundingly. And it's one of my very favorite podcasts. No joke I have ever done. So yeah,

that's available right now. Came out this past Friday. But that's it. That's really all I have to say.
