So about a year ago I spoke to Steve Vlattick about his book that was coming out called

the Shadow docket. Maybe you're familiar. I'm publishing it now. It's a really good conversation. I wish it could have come out earlier. I'm publishing it now and I want to use it as a plug because Steve Laddick is coming on opening arguments next week and it'll be kind of a

sequel to this conversation. It'll be interesting to see what has changed in a year, but this was a really good one.

It was about the Shadow docket, of course, his book that you should

gotten read if you haven't. But it's about court legitimacy and the lines and the boundaries of that, where he thinks it is, where I think it is, and what can be done.
