Hello and welcome to Series Inquiries, only this is episode 363, I'm Thomas, and I'm

excited to talk video games today.

This is pretty timely, cheers to the kingdom came out what, a week ago or something?

Yeah, no, that's about right, a week ago.

I wouldn't know because I haven't got to play it, I barely played it, but this is great

because today's episode is about video games.

If you're anything like me, you've probably played games your whole life, and I know my

listenership is pretty nerdy like I am, and I'm sure that you heard a lot of crap about

your video game playing, if you're anything like me again, from your parents or from your

teachers or whatever.

I feel like there's been nothing but negative talk around video games for such a long time.

So that's why when we saw this study come out that showed positive effects of video games

for once, it seems like an NIH study examines the impact of video games on the brains of

elementary school students and says, maybe they do good things, I thought that's perfect,

let's cover that.

Also, in coordination with that, I wanted to announce that Lydia and I streamed some Zelda,

that means I play Zelda and Lydia hangs out and we talk about stuff, it's a lot of fun.

Lydia is not a gamer whatsoever, but we'll see, maybe I'll try to play it a little bit,

I don't know, just for fun, just for shits.

But yeah, if you follow me on any social media, you might have seen that we streamed once,

and I wanted to say that sort of to go along with this episode today, we're going to
