And on this week's episode, we're going to be reviewing Sinister, the 2012 Supernatural

Horror Film directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Ethan Hawke and Juliet Rylance.

This movie follows an author who finds films of murders that puts his whole family in danger.

And I picked this one because someone recently mentioned it on our one-year

anniversary poll, right, Brian? Yeah, I think his name was Andrew on Twitter. He mentioned that I

think the question was, was a movie you saw as an adult that really stuck with you or like

freaked you out? And he mentioned sinister and specifically the kill

tapes oh yeah that that makes a lot of sense it's weird because i saw this one years ago and all i

remembered was is a bunch of like ethan hawk walking around in dark hallways uh so when i saw that comment

i wasn't really sure what they were talking about but i feel like after after rewatching it, there's definitely some pretty horrific scenes in this.

Yeah, so I know we released these out of order, but I was just listening to the draft

of the anniversary episode to make sure it sounded okay. You sent it to me today, and I noticed

you said that you didn't remember that, and I'm like, how the hell do you not remember these?

I know.

I think you blocked him out on purpose, man.

I think some hardcore stuff.

Yeah, I think it was just one of those painful things you see and trying to block out

of your mind.
