This is Family Life Today. So when I gave my life to Christ in college and started really reading a Bible for the first time because I really wasn't much of a Bible. I didn't know it. I was biblically illiterate and so now I'm I'm finding out a man of

God is a man of the word so I start reading the Bible there's a passage I came across

did I could not believe was in the Bible. I have no idea where you're

you don't know where I'm going. I mean I remember reading I'm going a guy who wrote the Bible

writes this it was Roman 7.

Oh yeah.

And the apostle Paul writes, for I do not understand my own actions, for I do not do what I want,

but I do the very thing I hate. Roman 71515 I'm like what because I had experienced that I'm like oh we

a guy that close to guy this is a possible pause like you know the guy we all want to become and he goes on to say,

I have the desire to do it's right, but not the ability to carry it out, for I do not do the good I want,

but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing and I'm like, oh my goodness, how in the world is this

guy describing so clearly and specifically the same struggle that I have.

In fact, it's one of the reasons I love the word of guy because it's so honest.

And so practical to our everyday lives and what we're going through.

Yeah, and it doesn't hide the struggle.
