We all know the books we read shape us and grow us. Besides benefits like increasing our vocabulary and sharpening our brains, books also teach us, challenge us and bring us comfort. Many benefits are waiting for you as you take the time to pick up a good book. We all have an ever-growing list of books we'd like to read each year. I'm sharing a few tips that have helped me choose what to read and make more time to fit it into a busy schedule. I struggled.

I debated on calling it Simple Tips to Read More Books for Busy Moms or Busy Homemakers,

so I ended up just sticking with Simple Tips to Read More Books.

We all know that the books we read, they shape us and they grow us.

I've been challenged by books, taught by books, discipled by books, comforted by books over

my years of reading and even being read to. I can still pick up a book and to read to my

grandbabies that I read to my children when they were little and be taken back to those days of

sitting with my babies on my lap, getting lost in the story. I can hear in those memories

the giggles or the surprise or the sadness depending on the story in the voices of my children.

It's been fun to make new memories with my grandchildren and possibly one day Lord willing,

even my great grandchildren. So just as we think about our Bible reading plan for the year,

I know many of us think about what books are going to be on our nightstands or in our cars or

our suitcases or on our coffee tables and on our bookshelves for 2021. Jane Austin said,

I declare, after all, there is no enjoyment like reading. How much sooner one tires of anything
