Hello everyone and welcome back

to the Sparkle Stories Podcast. This is Lizbeth of Sparkle Stories and thank you for your

patience in September while we took a break. We are coming back full of fire. And this is the first

week of October and I am pulling out one of my favorite themes which is play, specifically

spontaneous play, which means you do something just out of the blue just because it's fun.

Like for instance, we all of our meal times, don't we? But it's really fun to turn it into a picnic

and to take the food outside. It doesn't have to be fancy. It doesn't have to be picnic food.

But let's eat outside. In the grass or in the park or on the back porch.

Or another thing I really love is to all of a sudden out of the blue put on some good music that

makes you want to dance, particularly when we're all cranky. Just put on a song. You don't have to

do anything else and suddenly there's a dance party in your living room. So I encourage you

this week, say to your dad or your mom or your grandma or your aunt or whoever your fabulous

adult is, let's do something a little different. Let's have breakfast for dinner. Let's put on our

pajamas in the middle of the day and snuggle and listen to stories. Let's go outside and build

something in the woods. You want to? I don't know what, but let's go see what's out there

and what we could create from it. All of that makes everybody feel so good because we all like to

play and we all like to create and we all like to shake it up every once in a while. So this week,

I've picked a story called Silly Speak Songs. It's from the Martin and Sylvia Saturday's collection

and it's meant to inspire you to do things a little differently and with a little bit of silliness.
