So the challenge for the press and for people listening to this podcast is going to be separating the wheat from the chaff, the signal from the noise.

Signal is the investigation underway into the possible ties between Trump's campaign, the Cremlin and the DNC hack.

Noise is the debate about whether it was right for BuzzFeed to publish the dossier containing a lot of unverified allegations about the connection.

Signal is Trump's egregious conflict of interest, his failure to do even the little he promised to separate himself from his businesses and the massive corruption to come.

Noise is the self-aggrandizing speech he gave the CIA.
