Welcome back to the Intentional Parents Podcast. I'm here today just with mom, another one just

the two of us. And we've just been talking about this idea of how do we help our kids be friends.

You know, I feel like in my adult life hearing from so many of my peers about how their

relationships with their siblings are either estranged or difficult or awkward. And it's always

kind of baffled me when I think about like raising my own kids right now in our own house.

And you know, they're living every day together for so many years. I can't imagine it feels so

funny to me that so often siblings aren't friends. And yet I totally get it because my kids right

now are like the best of friends one minute and then total enemies the next minute and their

future friendship is not guaranteed. But we were camping for the first time as a family of six

a couple of weeks ago. We went once when Duke was like 18 months old. Do you remember that? And I

came back and said we are never doing that again with a toddler. He was like mobile. But we were

at a campsite where there were like still cars around. So I couldn't just let him like run free.

It was disastrous. So I waited a whole what was that? Another 12 years to camp again till it would

actually be fun. Yes, it was actually really, really fun. I see why we grew up camping. Yes.
