but I'm having a lot of conversations lately.

I seem to be falling into conversations about the student protests and the nature of anti-Semitism.

And I'm trying to figure out, and I'm actually perplexed by some of the beliefs that,

I don't want to say that I'm challenging back, but just, you know, in my day-to-day

conversations, I try to be as open and warm and loving as I can be, just, you know, as I try

to be when I'm writing on the pod.

And I'm trying to figure out if it's a reflection of my geography and demography.

If because I associate with people from New York of a particular age, if I'm running into more headwinds on these two issues, then I might otherwise in other parts

of the country and in other age groups. I imagine so. But at the same time, your experience and your

perception is your reality. And so specifically, I'm running into a lot of people

who would be, I think would characterize themselves as, you know, small D Democrats, like liberal

establishment type MSNBC Democrats, let's say, who are virulently against the campus protests in a way that's surprising

and in a way that I can't seem to penetrate with rational arguments in a way that I normally

find at least a modicum of success. I'm just running into pure resistance.

And I think some of that, if not most of it, is correlated heavily with people's feelings

regarding the anti-Semitic perceived nature of the protests.
