and The King's Speech with Jeffrey Rush.

He has a podcast of his own with his cousin.

Now, his cousin is a South African who has a doctorate in psychology

and spent years as a leader in the fight against

apartheid before building reconciliation in South Africa. And their podcast is called

Principle of Charity. It's an attempt to bring together people who have different points

of view with a view to finding some way to have conversations

that are free of bullshit and that extend the maximum amount of generosity towards one

opponent's ideas. Does that sound a bit familiar? Does that sound a little bit like what we're

trying to do on this show? This is a fascinating insight into their lives, their experiences, and the big debates that

really underpin the philosophy of this show and what is needed, I think, at this point in time,

at this sort of cultural flashpoint.
