When I was a kid, I used to look forward every Thanksgiving.

To the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade when my kids were kids, we went back and saw the

parade.

Of course, the big feature was these enormous, enormous balloons, Snoopy and Superman.

You name it.

Now the balloons are in the news again, but this one is a very, very large balloon admittedly

sent by China.

They claim it was a weather balloon designed to track weather.

I don't think you need a balloon to track whether there are so many other ways of doing it.

Clearly, it was a spy.

A balloon, and one question is, with all their technology, why do they need to have a relatively

low flying balloon, I think it was at 60,000 feet, I guess it takes better pictures of

military bases.

It's interesting, I once tried to solve a case by Soviet spying on a military base.

I had a client who was accused of murder and he had a truck and he claimed he was not

at the scene of the crime, which was right near a military base, and so we paid for it.

We got Russian intelligence photographs of the military base hoping that we would be

able to see clearly that his truck was not there, unfortunately, it was a cloudy day.

We couldn't do it.

We won the case on other grounds, but technology didn't win it for us.
