Welcome back to the Durs show before we get to revenge and whether the president

elect should take revenge and go after the people who persecuted him just a minute about

what he's doing now as president

elect. He's making more and more appointments. I think he's making more appointments in the days

following an election than any president in modern history. Of course, there are many more

appointments to be made these days than in the days of

Washington and Jefferson and Lincoln and even Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Well, Franklin

Delano Roosevelt really increased the number of appointments by his alphabet agencies. He invented

the administrative state, which I think President-elect Trump is trying to dismantle.

And there's some virtue in dismantling the administrative state.

The Supreme Court is also going to help dismantle or at least weaken the administrative state

by reversing what's called the Chevron doctrine and giving too much power, which gave too much power to administrative agencies.

Administrative agencies are kind of bastard agencies.

They have no parents.

We don't know what they really are.
