There's a whole lot of padding themselves on the back for how historic all of this is and how great

they all are and you have to remember that we have had an absolute bounty in tax revenues

over the last few years. You remember that scene in Scarface where they're going into the bank

and the banker is on the other side of the glass and he's sitting in his office and he sees them

walking in and the henchmen have these huge laundry bags full of cash and he's looking like,

oh dear God, what are y'all doing? We can only launder so much. It's like in Breaking Bad

when Scholar takes walk to the storage unit. She just go for a drive and they go in there. I don't

know if y'all seem breaking bad. I don't know if it just came out or whatever but I just watched it all

which probably means it's about 10, 15 years old. She lifts the door on the storage unit that he

doesn't know she has and there's more cash than you've ever seen at any one spot outside of

Fort Knox which may or may not have the goal because somebody was telling me all of that goal

is in a bank in the middle of Beverly Hills. Yeah, somebody you're right, somebody else's name.

I don't know. I don't know that I heard that years ago. I haven't been able to verify it. Anyway,

so here's the state legislature, the House, the Senate and the governor and there's more money coming

in than they know what to do with and it's like laundering money just like Ozark, just like

Breaking Bad, just like in Scarface. If they spend the money by increasing the departmental budgets,

it's going to look bad. So they got to show, oh, look what we did. They didn't reduce the budgets.

They didn't go in and start carving. They didn't boldly piss off the bureaucracy that is the state

government that looks good relative to the city of Houston and Harris County. But it looks terrible

compared to conservative counties. Anyway, so they've agreed on a deal and we got to throw some

money at the teachers. I don't understand why that's why that needs to be part of it, but we
