A name to keep an eye on New York Giants, Kvon Tibdo.

You know they have Brian Burns at one edge, Abdul Carter on the other.

Those two, along with Dexter Lawrence, going to be at the heart of this defense. But Kavon Tibido. You know they have Brian Burns at one edge, Abdul Carter on the other. Those two, along with Dexter Lawrence, going to be at the heart of this defense. But Kavon might be the one that is a little bit more expendable. At least somebody that the Giants are willing to listen to offers on. And from teams that I've talked to around the NFL Compvine believe he is available for the right price. He's someone who needs to be paid shortly. He's somebody who probably doesn't factor into the Giants' long-term plans. So if John Harbaugh and Joe Shane can get something for Tibido, that can both help the Giants this year and moving forward, it certainly sounds like from discussions I've had, that's something they're going to consider. That is interesting. Now, he's on a relative for a productive player. Remember, he had

11.5 sacks in 23, and then his production has kind of fallen off two and a half last year

after, after, I won't call it a rough season, but he got hurt. He missed a lot of time. He got

replaced as the top pass rusher, obviously, by Brian Burns, who had an all-pro

type season, and then obviously they drafted Abdul Carter.

And so to call him expendable is, it's technically right, but it's also, it's marginalizing

the importance of having multiple edge rushers on your team.

And you have to look no farther than how

Abdul Carter was used last year, schematically. Yeah, sometimes he was out on the edge, but a lot of

times he was lining up over the center. He was making it five on five for the offensive linemen.

So each of those pass rushers burns, Dexter Lawrence in the middle,

Kavon Tibido, other deed tackles,

and whoever the Bitsing linebacker would be

where it's a one-on-one matchup.

You're just more likely to succeed.
