Hey everybody, what's going on?

I'm Rob Cisterno back with this week's survivor burning question and we've got a good

one.

And it's one that a lot of people are talking about this week because for the second

time this season, we heard the account of a player who said that they had built an exact

replica of a challenge that they just completed on the show.

Now every week I get a lot of suggestions from our listeners about what are we going

to talk about on the burning question and they're all great.

Thank you to the patrons for that, but this week I'm going to give the credit to Steven

Fishback for something that he brought up on survivor.

Steven and I, we were talking about the controversial reaction to Carson 3D printing this week's

puzzle and I want to take a deeper look into this trend of players memorizing survivors

recurring challenges.

Let's start with why is this happening now after 44 seasons?

We do have some extra insight this season because of the official survivor podcast on

fire with Jeff Probe's Jeff addressed the idea of reusing the puzzles on a recent episode

called choosing the castaways a little after the 12 minute mark.

Let's hear what Jeff had to say about this.

I will say one thing I like about our puzzles right now is we've decided to keep some of

our iconic puzzles and repeat them and you're starting to see especially younger people

who grew up watching survivor when they were eight or nine.
