That's according to Shams, the Milwaukee Bucks want to shut down Yannis for the remainder of the year.

And Yonis says, no, yeah, I refuse to do that.

I want to play basketball.

Kyle, this has been an ongoing thing where it looked like maybe he could be traded

last summer, maybe he could be traded during the trade deadline, then when the injuries

kept occurring during the year, thought he was going to be out anyway with the calf for the

remainder of the season. Janus and this news is just an ongoing cycle at this point, this stage of his career.

It's the meme from, I think you should leave, where the guy in the hot dog suit

emerges out of a hot dog car that drove through the front of a window in a building and

then says, we're all trying to find the guy who did this.

Why is this relationship still intact?

Why is anyone pretending that Janus wants to be in Milwaukee, that Janus being in Milwaukee is productive or healthy for the bucks, or that anything should happen other

than this guy should be sent on the next train smoking

to whoever's willing to make the highest offer for Janus.

And I get why they're like I don't want NBA stars to just look for the exit.

As soon as things go poorly and I respect that Janus really built something special in Milwaukee.

He won the title.

He did what he set out to do when he was drafted and as he ascended to be a star.

And I know why he doesn't want to be perceived as the bad guy.

He doesn't want to be looked at as the guy who looked for the easy out.
