so should kids trade crypto this is the question there's been a lot of big

headlines in the British newspapers recently complaining that teenagers are

now trading large amounts of money in crypto online and it's a massive

outrage and something that needs to be stopped well quite frankly I disagree this

is actually an incredible opportunity to give our children a financial

education for the first time in their life and let's be honest we don't

teach our kids about money in school it's one of the big flaws of our

education system that was built in the industrial revolution and I see

crypto and decentralized finance as an incredible opportunity to give our

children the financial education that they're gonna need for their rest of

their lives one of my guests on London Real named Robert Kiyosaki author of

Rich Dad Port Ed he said to me Brian poor people work for money and rich people

make money work for them and for a lot of these teenagers this is the first

time they've ever done an asset in their life and by owning that asset they

learn about finance so I welcome these teenagers trading crypto as long as

they are educated in the right way and so I've made it my mission ever since I

was not mayor of London to educate people in defy or decentralized finance and

crypto assets again you have to be careful there's a lot of things out there you

shouldn't buy but we need to start this conversation and it starts by

educating our children and I think investing in crypto is an amazing way for

them to take control of their finances and I think it's a lot like sex

education you know back when I was a kid it was a new thing to show your kids
