We're pulling a little sleight of hand here with this episode. The

and we're going to play that conversation for listeners.

I wouldn't exactly call it a slide of hands. I mean, it's kind of a r rose more more of a scam

But the important point is that we are recording this before the presidential debate.

So we don't yet know how much the candidates will talk about the debt.

I was struck by how little they talked about it over the summer at the party conventions.

And I contrasted that in Barons with what happened just over 30 years ago.
