Are you at a crossroads, torn between sticking it out or heading in a new direction? Well, you're not alone. In this episode, we're diving deep into the dilemma of whether to quit or not. It’s not an easy decision. Are we giving up? Or is it the wrong direction?
To help clarify all the swirling questions, we’ll walk through a few of my favorite frameworks to understanding our motivations, fears, and aspirations when contemplating quitting.
Key topics discussed include:
The REFLECT Framework and its seven components
The 10-10-10 Rule and its application in decision-making
The role of external perspectives in the decision-making process
Enjoy!

0:08.8 | micro show is about quitting. We all heard like, don't be a quitter. The universe doesn't reward |
0:13.3 | quitters. And we don't know that that's only part right. In fact, like quitting something |
0:18.6 | that's not working is actually a really smart thing, |
0:21.6 | especially if it's not something you're excited about. This isn't all just about hedonism and joy, |

1:09.3 | it's working? Well, obviously, keep doing it. Do I not love it and yes, it's working? Well, then you've got a thought on your hand because if you don't love it and it's working, how do you want to spend your time? The other one is if it's not working and you don't love it, of course, that's the obvious no. |
1:29.8 | And what about in the instance where you love it, but it's not working? |
1:33.7 | Well, maybe that tells you you need to tweak something. |
1:36.7 | There's a little framework there. |
1:37.8 | Chris is very articulate at that. |
1:40.0 | And that was the start of my way into this episode. |
1:44.3 | I was thinking about this, and then I looked around for some other frameworks. |
1:47.9 | And there are several that are excellent, and two in particular that I wanted to highlight in the show. |
1:53.8 | Again, these decisions that we have, first of all, quitting having some serious cultural underpinnings it's a loaded term so i'd like to |
2:03.1 | try and remove the loaded nature of that term and you know get oriented get grounded in like let's try |
