in particular, use AI? And I have two guests to dialogue about this really important question.

Doug Smith is a software developer who has served

Fortune 500 companies, startups, universities, government agencies, and media personalities.

He's currently an Android-focused engineer with Covenant Eyes. He's also the author of the

book, Unintentional, how screens secretly shape your desires and how you can break free.

Jay Owen is the founder and CEO of

business builders, a marketing agency in St. Augustine, Florida, and the executive director

of communication at the Church of 1122. With over 20 years of experience growing businesses,

Jay now helps others leverage AI technology for sustainable growth.

Man, that I love this conversation. They were both very thoughtful. I honestly feel like both

raised really good points. They clarified their perspective. We talked about a lot of things

related to AI, ministry, discipleship, the relationship between AI in particular and technology in general.

Really excited about this conversation, because as I said offline, well, I'll just say it, say what I told you guys. Like, I feel like in this area, most people's opinions are outpacing their actual knowledge. But that's, it's 2025. So everybody does

that, right? Like, everybody's an expert on vaccines and foreign policy and all these things.

So I'm so glad to have two people that have actually done some deep, deep thinking, reading

and implementation of this question.
