Breaking news in the double murder of Monique and Spencer Tepe.

And yesterday, at 12 noon, there was an arrest made.

And the arrest was of the ex-husband of Monique Tepe.

So we begin with breaking developments in the tragic murders of the Ohio couple, Spencer and Monique Tepe.

Authorities have now arrested 39-year-old Michael David McKee, the ex-husband of Monique Tepe, in connection with the double homicide.

evidence that led to his arrest. On December 30th, 2025, neighbors and family became concerned

when Spencer, a respected Columbus dentist, failed to show up for work and couldn't be reached.

A friend, alarmed by their small children, crying inside the home,

call police for a welfare check. Officers found both Spencer and Monique inside their

Wyneland Park home dead from gunshot wounds. Their children were found unharmed.

Detectives quickly focused on surveillance video from the neighborhood and surrounding

streets. Footage captured a vehicle of interest arriving shortly before and leaving shortly after.

The likely time of the, after the likely time of the murders. Investigators tied the vehicle

to Michael McKee, who had a previous relationship of marriage,

actually, with Monique Tempe. They were married years earlier and divorced in 2017. Law enforcement

then tracked that same vehicle to Rockford, Illinois, where McKee was located and arrested on January 10, 26.

He now awaits extradition to Finkett County, Ohio, to face two counts of murder.
