Hello everyone and welcome to police off the cuff real crime stories.

I'm your host, retired NYPD sergeant, Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

Tonight's show is just one of the most bizarre murder cases that I've ever seen or heard of.

Just it always amazes me.

And even though I did this for a living for 27 years and I was in homicide for 10 years,

when you make the field of which these cases occur in the whole country, some very bizarre

things occur.

And here we have not even a love triangle,

a husband and a wife and with a four-year-old daughter,

and they bring in a 21, 22-year-old pair from Brazil

to take care of their child.

I guess both of them work.

And what happens invariably is the husband starts having an affair with the Brazilian au pair.

And apparently the husband had a history of infidelities and had mentioned to another one of his infidels, I guess.

I know if that's the proper usage of that word, that they could be together if he could just get rid of his wife.

So this wasn't the first time that he thought of this.

And this case is extremely, extremely convoluted, extremely complicated.

Yet law enforcement in Virginia did an outstanding job with with this case and we're going to get into

it tonight and we're going to look at where the case is now and where it's it's going to so folks

hold on to your hats hold on to your seats hold on onto your glass of wine, your cup of tea, whatever

you need to get you through this. You're about to enter true crime from a police perspective.

You're about to enter the off-the-cuff zone. The police off-the-cuff-cuff-zone. There has to be some common sense.
