The CFO of bankrupt law firm Girardi Keese has been arrested on wire fraud charges with prosecutors alleging that 10 Million was stolen from the firm in a ‘side fraud’. The California State Bar has issued an open letter detailing the 40 years of complaints against Tom Girardi and finally, Federal Judge Durkin issued a scathing order calling the actions of Girardi “certainly criminal.” It’s been over a month since I have checked into the Girardi case, and it’s incredible how much breaking news there has been in this case.

order from the court in Illinois. It really was the Illinois court that tipped this all off.

1:25.1

That was the tip of the iceberg when those assets got frozen. That was the last, well,

1:30.8

is it the first time I'm going to fall? Yes. Because that's the one that really started all of

1:36.1

this fallout. And that's the one that I think led directly to the bankruptcy. I can't believe

1:42.1

we are now two years into covering this case. And there's been a criminal arrest buckle, buckle,

1:46.9

buckle up. Oh, oh, yeah. And the IRS entered the chat. That's a party for everyone that's been

1:52.8

involved in this law firm because they've got to be looking at it going, oh, shit,

1:58.0

there it there. There it is. There's the IRS because we knew we knew the IRS was going to get
