The San Diego Board of Education is sending its teachers to provide in-person learning to migrant teenagers who have crossed the border and are currently being sheltered at the San Diego Convention Center. Meanwhile, parents in the same district are frustrated that their children continue to learn remotely from home. Students are expected to transition to a hybrid model of in-person and remote learning starting April. 12th. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), whose district is in San Diego, weighs in on this and why he thinks it's a double standard that teachers are being asked to offer safe in-person instruction to unaccompanied minors but it's not safe enough for U.S. students to return to the classroom full-time. A World Health Organization report says the origins of the coronavirus that created the global pandemic was likely transmitted from animal to human in China. The study is far from being over but shows this coronavirus was not likely constructed or manipulated in a Wuhan lab.
