So our topic for discussion today is person-centered approaches to helping youth with eating disorders.

Eating problems are said to be one of the most deadly mental health issues, and there are many

different types listed in the psychiatry's diagnostic manual. So why are there so many different emotional behavioral issues associated with

nutrition and eating? Is there some kind of underlying thread to this? Yeah. So I think one commonality

and underlying thread that's present in every eating disorder and every diagnosis is restriction.

People respond to restriction in different ways.
