Tonight I'll be reading Sherlock Holmes, a study in Scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle.

Part 2, chapters 2 and 3 3. In the previous chapter, the Stard had relayed to Holmes, Watson and Gregson, the circumstances of Stangerson's death.

And Holmes was exultant at the clue found at the scene, in the form of a box of pills.

After verifying at least some of the pills were poison, he seemed satisfied he had solved

the case.

He then, shortly shortly after arrested a cab driver named Jefferson Hope.

The next chapter follows events some 40 years prior in the desert plains of America.

We learned of a man named John Ferrier and a girl named Lucy, saved from perishing in the desert by a group of traveling Mormons, one of which

shared the name of Strangerson. Now you're caught up with the story so far. Let's get ourselves ready for sleep.
