But, you know, the Bible says honor your mother and father so that your life may be long on the earth.

You know, many of us, seriously, to dissect the inadequacies of the Ten Commandments, have pointed out, and my mother has always pointed out, that there's something wrong with that commandment, or at least it should be followed with another one, about parents honor your children, which certainly does not happen in the Bible.
