About all this nonsense still going on?

Yeah, I can talk about it sort of in general terms.

So we're still dealing a quick recap for new people last April, not this past one,

April 2024, we had five trees fall in the house, one went through the roof. We've been having

problems with insurance. They've been ignoring us, not responding to emails, refusing to pay out.

So we've kind of been battling with them. And then last September, we moved into an

RV in my driveway because we just, I mean, renting a place fully furnished was going to cost

a few thousand dollars a month. And we just can't do that because we still have to pay our

regular mortgage, which the mortgage just went up because taxes went up. So we're paying

$300 more a month now in our mortgage for a house we can't

live in which sucks but we lost a lot of the stuff in the house it's fine it's just material

possessions but it's been a really draining battle and then when we got back from my mom passing away

and our vacation after that we found out there was even more damage that hadn't been caught previously.

So we're just, you know, we're going in through insurance again with this and they're figuring

out is it a second claim or the same as the first claim. This was after they ignored that for two weeks.

They keep trying to spring surprise inspections on us. They're not talking to our lawyers. They're calling us at like Sunday night, being like, we'll be there tomorrow morning at 10, and we're like, that's not how this works. It's just been a nonsense battle. So if you're going through a battle with insurance, I feel your pain. So hopefully there's an end in sight. We don't see it yet, but our contractor and everyone's like, we think it's going to speed up a little bit more now. So it's been almost a, what, a year and five months? And the county's coming after you for some water bill also? Oh, yeah. There was like a separate water main break. And they're like, here, it's like $3,000. And we're like, but we didn't Yeah. Thank God we had the contractor because he found it because it was a buried pipe.
