A female soccer player came forward and wrote an opinion piece where she stated that men need to be kept out of women's soccer.

A crazy ass guy know. Well, guess what? Her teammates came forward and did a public press conference where they called her a transphobe and a racist in response. Let's talk about it.

Yes, today we're talking about Angel City FC.

That's Angel City Football Club.

Now, one of their players, Elizabeth Eddy, came forward and wrote an opinion piece.

And in this opinion piece, she stated that men need to be kept out of women's soccer in the name of fairness,

that men have biological advantages and they should

implement some sort of policy slash testing to keep biological men out of the national women's

soccer league. Simple as that. Now, you would think her teammates and her team in general will respond

with, I don't know, reason, logic, but instead they decided to hold a press conference where they

call her a racist

and a transphobe. Let's watch the clip. Going into this, I'm a little bit nervous because I think

it's a big job to represent your team and speak for your team and not just that speak for

others who this will be important to. We've all obviously seen the article that was written in the New York Post earlier this week.

So I really want to start off by saying that that article does not speak for this team in this locker room.

I've had a lot of combos with my teammates in the past few days, and they are hurt, and they are harmed by the article and also they are disgusted by some of the things that were said in the earth. Okay, so let's pause. Let's think about the concept of being hurt and harmed by an article that calls that biological men not be able to, I don't know, like trample women in the National Women Soccer League. That's all this individual wrote about and it's not, she didn't even write in that colorful language. I'm going to get to the article in just a moment because, of course, I did read it for the sake of this video. All she said was that we should care about fairness and protecting women. And we should talk about why there are women's leagues, why there's a separation between men and women in the vast majority of sports.

And we should honor that separation by not allowing biological men to compete against women.

But somehow that's hurtful and harmful to biological women who are playing for Angel City

Football Club.

Let's just be clear about it.

They're subservient to their politics.
