I told you guys the message I got from the P1, like our most hardcore listeners.

The question was, did I feel odd yesterday in a room full of predominantly black people at the airport?

And we were trying to assume what she meant by that.

And she was listening because she's a P1 and hit me back.

And she said,

Abby hit the nail on the head. Say that again. You like that? Yeah, I love that.

Don't focus on odd. I was wondering if you were aware of being the minority in that space.

You answered the question. Thanks. I wasn't trying to start anything. I was genuinely curious. And then she wrote, as a black person,

I've been the only black person in a group of white people many times before. It was jarring to be the only one. Depending on the situation, I would be ignored or there would be some polite conversation,

but not a full feeling of being welcomed and accepted if that makes sense.

Oh, okay.

Anyway, as I said, I was just wondering, congratulations on being an ambassador for Hartsville-Jackson Airport.

I know it's something you've won for a long time.
